Fairy-tales and Hero Stories

To end your day with “once upon a time”.   Doesn’t it make you sit up and listen, when the point of being read to at night is to lay down and sleep?

Today I’m working on a fairy-tale–a magical place in my mind.

bear-838688_1920There are no fairy-tales in our book “Make No Assumptions”  but you’ll find its close relative:  hero stories.   In my (Glenda’s) story,  “About Jack” unlike Jack from the beanstalk,   my Jack has a friend in the wilderness in which he finds himself–an usual sort of companion,  Great Bear.

In Janie’s “Alberto” hero story,  a young man grows up in a foreign land and but for the help of a solitary friend would disappear in the city jungle madness.
